Los Rebeldes from Conjunto

Thursday, September 26th in front of Jackson Center for the Arts, the Farmers/Makers Market will take place from 3:30-6:30pm as usual but that is only the beginning! Second Street will be blocked off , even after the Market for our special Fiesta Street Dance! Los Rebeldes (The Rebels) is a Mexican-American group from southern Minnesota performing since the early 1980s. Their style from the north blends with the traditions of the south to bring the musical styles of Tex-Mex, Conjunto, Country Rock, Folk, and Cumbia alive on stage or in our case, on 2nd Street. They will be playing from 5:30-8:30pm. Sponsored by a grant from Minnesota State Arts Board and Conjunto Showcase.
