Murals Projects

Jackson’s growing public art initiative now includes four murals across town, born from a 2021 community-driven project funded by the Minnesota State Arts Board. During the pandemic, a representative group of residents came together to select themes and locations for four murals, which were designed by a local artist and brought to life through a paint-by-number process at the Jackson Center for the Arts. Community members of all ages participated in small family groups, making the project both a creative and unifying success for downtown Jackson, Minnesota.
